On October 28, 2011, teachers, educators, youth workers and environmental practitioners will gather to celebrate the partnerships between the Boston Public Schools, Community Based Organizations and Boston-based environmental education organizations and businesses to promote a Pathway of Environmental Learning for children and youth.

The Event Will Include:

Ø  Keynote Speaker: Commissioner Ed Lambert, MA Department of Conservation & Recreation,

Ø  City Councilor John Connolly will present BYEN Awards for Teachers, Environmental Educators and Youth Employment Providers,

Ø  Showcase of model environmental education and youth employment experiences taking place in Boston,

Ø  Expo of resources for you, your school or your program,

Ø  Free Hors D'oeuvres, Open Bar, Dessert, Breathtaking views of Boston Harbor.

Ø  Professional Networking to Strengthen School-Community-Business Partnerships
