Youth Can 3rd Annual Climate SUmmit Vendor Invitation
Tte Boston Latin School Youth Climate Action Network (www.blsyouthcan.org) seeks organizations to reserve tables for information sharing at their upcoming 3rd Annual Global Climate Summit at MIT on Saturday, May 9th! Come and represent your interests and make like-minded youth and adults better aware of the environmental work that your organization is engaged in!  Your outreach efforts are welcome!
 
BLS Youth CAN's 2009 3rd Annual Global Climate Summit is taking place in the Stata Center on MIT's Campus:

The Stata Center has a broad, indoor "street" where organizations and vendors can easily connect with Summit attendees, as well as other passerby in the busy center.
Last year, the 2nd Annual Summit was attended by over 230 students in grades 7-12. This year, Youth Can anticipates more than double that number, and have expanded the  programming to include workshops for educators as well as youth. 
 
The schedule for the Summit is as follows:
Registration/Breakfast – 8:30 – 9:15 AM
Step Squad – 9:30
Welcomes – 9:45 – Boston Mayor Thomas Menino, MIT President Susan Hockfield, Cambridge Mayor Denise Simmons, and BLS Headmaster Lynne Mooney-Teta
Keynote Speaker – 10:00 – William Moomaw, Prof. of International Environmental Policy & Dir. of the Center for International Environment & Resource Policy at Tufts University's Fletcher School of Law & Diplomacy
Workshop Session #1 - 11:00 – 11:45
Activities – 11:45 – 12:30 – Vendor Booths; Photo Booth; Making a Climate T-shirts, 350 Action, etc.
Lunch – 12:30 – 1:15
Entertainment – 1:30 - 2:15 – Youth CAN Play and Green Bands
Workshop Session #2 - 2:30 – 3:15
Networking Session – 3:30 – 4:00
Door Prizes – 4:00 – 4:30
Set Up:
It is recommended that your table displays be set up between 7:30 AM and 8:30 AM, or between 11:00 and 11:45.  
Exhibit Visiting Times:
Summit participants will be free to visit table exhibits during registration, after workshop session I, after workshop session II, after lunch, after the entertainment, after the networking session, and after the door prizes. 
 
Break Down:
All vendors must be packed up and out of Stata by 5:00 P.M.
