Volunteers Needed for the Annual Boston Citywide Science Fair
The Annual Boston Citywide Science Fair is on March 6, 2010 at Northeastern University's Cabot Facility.  We are desperate for volunteers to help out at the fair.  We need people to help register students on Friday, March 5th from 1:30 - 4:30 and assistance on Saturday morning for registration at
8 AM.    At lunch time we need adults to accompany kids to lunch and activities.  This is a wonderful event for 350 middle and high school students and with the right team, we'll have a great day.   Volunteers are asked to email Ruth O'Day at rmoday@verizon.net and mention which time slot is most convenient.

Please pass the request through the BPS network of friends and maybe we'll be lucky enough to come up for the right fit for the 64th Boston Annual Citywide Science Fair on March 6, 2010.  Each year during the lunch break at the fair we try to plan activities that would entertain middle and high school youngsters.  It could be about science or some other kind of show or demonstration that would last about 35 minutes.  Someone might have a great idea and I would appreciate it if they would contact me.  rmoday@verizon.net
Additionally, we give the kids goodie bags at the fair and we're looking for items to fill the bags.  Pencils, pens, flash drives, passes to movies or museums, tee shirts, hats... There are roughly 350 kids participating in the fair.
